A test is a proof destined to evaluate certain knowledge, skills or functions . In this sense, the concept is linked to evaluations and examinations.

The Inteligence test (also known as IQ test , C.I. test or I.Q. test ) try to measure the intelligence through an estimated measurement of intelligence quotient .

The notion of intelligence refers to knowing how to choose the best options available to solve a problem. That is why it is related to the ability to assimilate, understand and elaborate information to use it properly .

There are different types of intelligence, such as psychological intelligence , the biological intelligence and the operational intelligence , among other. Therefore, specialists have developed different types of intelligence tests, with the intention of measuring the various aspects of it.

Regarding the IQ or IQ (according to the English term intelligence quotient), this is a number that qualifies the cognitive abilities of a subject in relation to their age group.

Multiple are the intelligence tests that we can find to measure the IQ and they are made up of a series of exercises and tests that serve to establish it. Specifically, we can determine that, as a rule, the activities that are part of those are verbal comprehension, memory of figures, similarities, cubes, assembly of objects or image complements.

All this without forgetting many other activities that deal with arithmetic, vocabulary, codes or image classification. A very large set of exercises, all of which will ensure that the professional who performs it, once the results have been analyzed, establishes a general IQ, but also a more specific IQ, such as the verbal one.

To carry out said Q.I establishment, you will have to thoroughly study the aforementioned results and also develop some notes thanks to the invaluable help of their weighting and a series of stepped tables.

The CI. middle of an age group is 100 : if a person has a C.I. higher, it is above average. In general, the standard deviation in the results of the intelligence tests is considered to be 15 or 16 points. Those who are above 98% of the population are considered gifted .

Among the most famous intelligence tests is, for example, that of WAIS (Wechsler Adults Intelligence Scale). In the decade of the 30s, specifically in the year 1939, it was when David Wechsler developed the same one that is used to calculate the quoted quotient among the adult population. From then until today, this tool, composed of two parts (verbal and execution), is used frequently with people who are between the ages of 16 and 64.

The intelligence tests, in short, present a series of exercises which must be resolved in the least amount of time possible. According to the positive responses given by the subject, an estimated result is obtained that measures their C.I.
